Resources: Do It Yourself
This page features different things YOU can make to have fun with your dog at home. Click on an item below for instructions.
Inexpensive Channel Weaves
These weaves can be used indoors or out, are very simple to assemble, and are great for training dogs to weave. Total cost to make them from scratch is about $20. Channel weaves help your dog get used to the concept of weaving by driving through a "channel" of poles rather than starting with weave poles in line. You can slowly move them closer together as your dog progresses. The height of these weave poles and spacing is what you will see in official competition.

Agility Jumps
This plan describes how to make a set of three jumps. The jump heights are adjustable so this plan can be used for any breed of dog. When making your own jumps, it's crucial that the bars be easily off set so that the dog can't be tripped and injured. These jumps include bars that rest on jump cups.
